Ακολουθεί πραγματικός διάλογος σε ταξί στη Λεμεσό. Ο οδηγός αναρωτιέται σε ποιο νέο πολυώροφο κτήριο βρίσκεται ο διάσημος μπλε γορίλας.

Πόλο έλξης για τους περαστικούς αποτελεί ο μπλε γορίλας της Imperio στη Λεμεσό, ο οποίος κάνει θραύση στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης.  Για τους πιο… μυημένους στην τέχνη όμως, ο εντυπωσιακός μπλε γορίλας στο Icon αποτελεί, πέρα από μια σπουδαία εικαστική δημιουργία και ατραξιόν, σύμβολο της ελπίδας. Γιατί, ακριβώς, μέσα από αυτό το έργο ξεπροβάλλουν μηνύματα αισιοδοξίας, όπως η ομορφιά που καταφέρνει να νικήσει το κακό,  η αγάπη που μεταμορφώνει τον άνθρωπο.

Η Imperio, αναγνωρίζοντας τη σημασία και τη θετική επίδραση της τέχνης στη ζωή των ανθρώπων, εισήγαγε τις εικαστικές τέχνες στο κυπριακό real estate. Αποκορύφωμα αποτελεί το εντυπωσιακό μπλε γλυπτό που τοποθέτησε στην κεντρική είσοδο του Ιcon στη Λεμεσό, το οποίο αναπαριστά τον King Kong. Το έργο αποτελεί μια από τις πιο γνωστές δημιουργίες του διάσημου Γάλλου καλλιτέχνη, Richard Orlinski.

Για τον Richard Orlinski, ο Κing Κong αποτέλεσε έμπνευση για τη δημιουργία μια σειράς γλυπτών, σε διαφορετικούς χρωματισμούς, τα οποία φιλοξενούνται κατά καιρούς σε διάφορα μέρη, όπως πλατείες και γκαλερί, ανά το παγκόσμιο. Τα μηνύματα που στέλνει μέσα από την τέχνη του είναι εξαιρετικής σημασίας για τον κάθε άνθρωπο ξεχωριστά. Αναφερόμενος στον King Kong, ανέδειξε ότι «δαμάζοντας τα αρνητικά  ένστικτά μας, μπορούμε να μεταμορφωθούμε σε κάτι όμορφο».

Ο King Kong από την είσοδο του κτηρίου-διαμάντι της Λεμεσού στέλνει σε περαστικούς και επισκέπτες το μήνυμα ότι η ομορφιά είναι παντού. Ακόμη και μέσα από την άγρια μορφή του κινηματογραφικού τέρατος.

Imperio’s blue gorilla in Limassol has become a pole of attraction for passers-by, which is a hit in social media. For the more…experienced in art, however, the impressive blue gorilla at the Icon is, apart from being a great work of art and attraction, a symbol of hope. Because, precisely, through this project, messages of optimism emerge, such as the beauty that manages to defeat evil, the love that transforms humans.

Imperio, recognising the importance and positive impact of art on people’s lives, introduced the visual arts to Cyprus real estate. The highlight is the impressive blue sculpture placed at the main entrance of the Icon in Limassol, which represents King Kong. The project is one of the most famous creations of the famous French artist, Richard Orlinski.

For Richard Orlinski, King Kong was the inspiration for the creation of a series of sculptures, in different colors, which are occasionally hosted in various places, such as squares and galleries, around the world. The messages he sends through his art are extremely important for each person individually. Referring to King Kong, showed that “taming our negative instincts, we can transform into something beautiful.”
